The LAMF Vocal Fellowship provides singers at the beginning of their careers with mentorship and performance opportunities. Vocal fellows work one on one with our team of directors and coaches to hone their craft, while participating in productions and performances alongside our world-renowned roster of singers.”

"Abraham in Flames" Opera Premiere

Abraham in Flames is a new opera by creator/writer Niloufar Talebi, composer Aleksandra Vrebalov, and director/dramaturg Roy Rallo. The opera is inspired by Talebi's coming of age in Tehran around the iconic Iranian poet Ahmad Shamlou who attended her parents' literary salons, the staggering imagery in Shamlou's life and poetry, Trials by Fire, and the Tree of Life. Conducted by Stefano Flavoni, music director.
